The egg-shaped, primrose-yellow buds of Tulipa Golden Apeldoorn open to reveal a rich, golden yellow interior and black heart, punctuated by a bright yellow, 3-lobed stigma. Full sun will certainly enhance the pure yellow colour of Tulip Golden Apeldoorn but a little shade will extend its blooming period through the month of April. Tulipa Golden Apeldoorn make long lasting cut flowers.
