Genuine 3M Scotchlok 905 Self Stripping Tap Connectors also known as Suitcase Connectors.

These unique connectors allow you to tap track feeders into a bus line without the need to splice or strip the bus line wire. The red 905 connectors are suitable for 14 to 22 AWG wiring. Great for all model railroading wiring where you need to tap into a wire. Suitable for stranded and solid wire.

While no special tool is needed for hobby use, a set of pliers with parallel closing jaws (long needle nose can work) is recommended to ensure the splice plate is pressed in evenly.

There are many cheap counterfeits of these products that do not work well. The connectors we sell are genuine 3M Scotchlok products.
