The XLED candle bulb is a C35 flame-shape LED lamp on an E14 Small Edison Screw (SES) cap, known in the US as a candelabra-style fitting. It draws just 1.8 W while putting out 250 lumens, replacing a 25 W old bulb at a fraction of the running cost. The light is a 4000K cool white with a Ra 80 colour rendering, spread across a wide 320 degree beam so the glow reaches around the fitting rather than firing in one direction. Visible LED filaments sit inside clear glass for a vintage look.

Because the beam wraps almost fully around the bulb, it suits open and exposed fittings where the lamp is on show, such as chandeliers, candelabra-style ceiling lights, wall brackets and bedside lamps. The 4000K cool white tone gives a crisp, clean light that works well in kitchens, hallways and living spaces where a brighter, less yellow output is wanted.
