Designed in 1928, Poul Henningsens PH Septima Glass Pendant light for Louis Poulsen stands as an iconic piece of design history. Each fixture boasts seven glass shades that take on an artichoke-like configuration. The shades are finished in alternating swaths of clear glass and sandblasted glass that stagger one on top of the other. This technique of hovering clear glass over sandblasted glass and vice versa, serves tobestdiffusethe lightto a soft glow. The PH Septima’s internal frame and canopy are composed of a raw brass that is designed to developa beautiful patina over time.
